According to BlockBeats, on July 10, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei denied that Tehran initiated negotiations with the United States, but stated Iran agrees to allow mediators to visit. Baghaei said the U.S. has made a habit of breaking agreements, noting that within 22 days of signing a 14-point memorandum of understanding, Washington has violated multiple provisions under various pretexts. The statement came hours after U.S. President Trump claimed on Truth Social that Iran sought to continue talks and the U.S. agreed.
