According to CCTV, Iran's Judiciary Chief Ejehi said on May 2 that Iran is open to negotiations with the U.S. but firmly opposes American coercion. While talks are logical and reasonable, Ejehi stressed that Iran will not accept U.S. demands imposed through threats or intimidation. He added that Iran does not want war and hopes to avoid prolonged conflict.
