During the talks, Pezeshkian praised Pakistan’s effective and responsible role in promoting ceasefire and peace efforts. He stated that Iran’s military actions against U.S. military bases in the Middle East were taken within the scope of defense necessity in response to imposed circumstances, and reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to safeguarding the legitimate rights of the Iranian people within the framework of international law.
