Iran Rejects U.S. Determining War Timing on July 27

According to Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Baghaei, on July 27 Iran stated it will not allow the United States to decide when to engage in or cease military action. Baghaei said Iran is currently holding talks with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz, which he emphasized are unrelated to the U.S., and Iran has no negotiations with the U.S. He added that Iran remains committed to using diplomatic means to protect national interests when appropriate.
