According to Jin10, on June 1, Iran's armed forces commander Abdullah warned that if Israel carries out threats to bomb the southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahiyeh) and threatens Israeli residents in northern areas, Iranian retaliation would follow. The commander stated that Israeli residents and military personnel in northern regions should "immediately leave the area if they do not want to be harmed," citing Israel's repeated violations of ceasefire agreements.
