Iran's Deputy FM: Iran Will Not Accept Being Treated as Exception to International Law

GateNews

Gate News message, April 18 — Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Hatibozdeh stated on April 18 that Iran is committed to resolving issues through diplomatic channels but will not accept being treated as an exception to international law. Speaking during the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey, he said Iran will fight to the end in the face of invasion.

Hatibozdeh emphasized that Iran will not accept any commitments made outside the framework of international law, stating: “All of our commitments will be within international rules.” He noted that Iran-U.S. negotiations have made significant progress previously, but the U.S. approach of attempting to treat Iran as an exception to international law has hindered the two sides from reaching an agreement.
