According to Xinhua News Agency, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on July 8 that the United States' conduct as World Cup host reflects its typical diplomatic behavior of changing rules, bullying opponents, and creating obstacles. Pezeshkian said Iran will not engage further and will firmly defend its rights.
