According to CCTV, Iran's Supreme Leader's military advisor Mohsen Rezaei said on May 24 that while Iran negotiates with the United States, the country keeps its finger on the trigger. Speaking at a commemoration event for the Battle of Khorramshahr during the Iran-Iraq War, Rezaei stated that if America chooses to continue warfare, Iran will collapse the U.S. economy, and that Iran views negotiations with the U.S. as a valuable opportunity.
