Israel Destroys 200-Meter Hezbollah Tunnel in Southern Lebanon on June 28

According to Reuters, Israel struck and destroyed a 200-meter-long underground tunnel used by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon's Mazda village on June 28, according to a joint statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz. The tunnel contained hundreds of weapons and launching platforms. Israel said it notified the U.S. in advance of the operation and pledged to continue dismantling militant infrastructure in southern Lebanon despite ongoing ceasefire negotiations.
