Jane Street Paid $9.38 Billion in Compensation Last Year, $2.68M Per Employee

According to Bloomberg, Jane Street, a quantitative trading and liquidity provider, paid $9.38 billion in compensation in 2025, more than double the prior year. This translates to an average of $2.68 million per employee, nearly seven times the compensation at competitor Goldman Sachs.

The firm recorded approximately $39.6 billion in trading revenue last year, surpassing major Wall Street banks and market makers.
