KB Asset Management Names Lee Jun-seok as ETF Product Division Head, Bolstering Competitive Stance

According to Yonhap Infomax, on July 28, KB Asset Management appointed Lee Jun-seok as head of its ETF Product Division. Lee, who joined KB last December, previously served as head of product strategy at Woori Asset Management for approximately two years, where he led the launch of South Korea's first U.S. IPO-focused mutual fund in partnership with Neuberger Berman, which surpassed 100 billion won in assets under management within three months. He also managed KB's involvement in SpaceX's recent public offering allocation. KB Asset Management currently ranks third among domestic asset managers with 34.2 trillion won in ETF assets under management, holding a 7.74% market share.
