KB Financial Group Unveils Five Strategic Agendas on AI Redesign, July 10-11 Workshop

According to Hankyoreh, KB Financial Group held its 2026 second-half executive workshop on July 10-11 at its training center in Sacheon, South Korea. The workshop focused on five strategic agendas: wealth management and pension business model redesign, competitive strengthening in small business finance, enhanced collaboration between corporate banking and capital markets, advancement in insurance and asset management capabilities, and AI transformation acceleration. Chairman Yang Jong-hee stated that the group's competitive advantage lies in offering comprehensive financial solutions. He characterized MoneyMove as an opportunity to strengthen wealth management and asset operations capabilities, rather than a crisis, while positioning productive finance as a turning point for expanding corporate banking and small business roles. Yang emphasized that achieving systematic competitiveness requires redesigning work processes and systems with AI-based frameworks.
