Korbit Rebranded to Digital X, Becoming Mirae Asset Group's Core Investment Platform

According to Chairman Park Hyun-joo, Korbit, the digital asset exchange acquired by Mirae Asset Group, was renamed Digital X on July 23. In a letter to employees, the chairman stated that Digital X will serve as "the most powerful core axis" implementing Mirae Asset 3.0 vision by combining traditional and digital assets. The 'X' in Digital X represents infinite possibilities created through the convergence of different values. Park emphasized the importance of compliance, stating "trust takes a lifetime to build but collapses in an instant," and called for strict adherence to anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and fraud detection systems. The exchange plans to enhance investor education and develop into an intelligent investment platform integrating tokenized real-world assets, security tokens, and stablecoins.
