Korea Chamber of Commerce Launches New K-Industry Platform with Four Strategic Pillars on July 9

According to Yonhapnews, on July 9, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKI) launched the New K-Industry platform, a public-private partnership aimed at designing future industrial strategy. The initiative introduced four strategic pillars: AI transformation (AX), green transition (GX), service innovation (SX), and infrastructure innovation (IX). The move addresses structural stagnation in traditional industries, with manufacturing production indices showing slowdown excluding semiconductors, and South Korea's services export growth rate at 4.71%, trailing the United States (5.53%) and China (7.93%).
