According to Korea Securities Depository SaveRo portal, Korean retail investors known as Seokhak Gaemi net purchased approximately 1 trillion Korean won of 3x leveraged U.S. equity exchange-traded funds (ETFs) from July 1-8. The most heavily liquidated products during the period were SOXL and KORU, reflecting the retail investors' aggressive positioning in leveraged U.S. market exposure.
