KOSPI Falls 4.67% on July 16, Breaks Below 7,000 One Day After Surge

According to Yonhapnews, South Korea's benchmark equity index KOSPI dropped 340.46 points (4.67%) to 6,943.95 on the morning of July 16. The decline marked the index's fall below the 7,000-point level just one day after surging more than 6% and recovering to above 7,000 on July 15.
