KPMG, Anthropic Sign Global Alliance to Integrate Claude AI Into Digital Gateway for 276,000 Employees

According to official statements from both firms, KPMG and Anthropic signed a global alliance on May 19 to embed Claude AI directly into KPMG Digital Gateway, the consulting firm's client delivery platform built on Microsoft Azure. The integration will enable KPMG professionals and clients to work with AI within the platform rather than using separate tools.

The rollout begins with focus on tax clients and private equity firms, with 276,000 KPMG employees gaining access to Claude tools over time. The companies plan to co-develop products including KPMG Blaze, which can incorporate Claude Code to accelerate IT modernization. The partnership is guided by KPMG's Trusted AI framework, with cybersecurity and risk management built into system design.
