Lebanese Parliament Speaker Rejects Three-Way Framework Agreement on June 29 Amid Israeli Military Operations

According to Jin10, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said on June 29 that the Lebanese parliament will not approve the three-way framework agreement between Lebanon, Israel, and the United States. Berri stated in a statement that the agreement fails to protect Lebanese rights and characterized it as a "directive agreement" that will not pass parliament or be implemented in its current form. The announcement came a day after Israel launched military strikes against multiple locations in Lebanon on June 28.
