Ledger Launches Open-Source AI Toolkit With Hardware-Enforced Transaction Approval

Ledger unveiled Ledger Agent Stack, an open-source framework enabling AI agents to assist with cryptocurrency management while keeping final transaction control with users through hardware wallet approval. The toolkit allows AI agents to inspect wallet balances, review portfolios and prepare transfers without accessing private keys. Every transaction must be physically approved on a Ledger hardware wallet before execution, preventing AI agents from independently authorizing fund movements. The framework also secures AI credentials and serves as physical authentication for services including GitHub, Discord and 1Password, protecting against prompt injection and other AI-related threats.
