LG Expands Nvidia Partnership Into Physical AI, Covering Robotics and Data Centers

LG plans to integrate its home robot CLOiD with Nvidia Isaac, a robotics software and simulation system, enabling engineers to train robots in physics-based simulations before real-world deployment. The company is also leveraging Nvidia Omniverse to build digital twins of its smart factories, allowing production teams to test changes digitally before implementation. Additionally, LG is developing AI data center cooling solutions and pursuing Nvidia certification for its cooling distribution unit (CDU), which manages liquid cooling for servers.

The partnership aligns with a broader industry trend where established manufacturers adopt specialized AI platforms rather than building core technology independently. The global robotics market is projected to reach $38 billion by 2035, reflecting growing demand for AI-powered industrial solutions.
