LG Uplus Targets $3.25 Billion in AI Data Center Orders by 2030

According to The Chosun Daily, LG Uplus announced on June 5 that it is targeting 5 trillion won (US$3.25 billion) in AI data center orders by 2030 as it expands its Paju AI data center in Gyeonggi Province. The company said contracts for Paju Block 1 have been finalized, with completion scheduled for June 2027. LG Uplus will collaborate with affiliates including LG Electronics and LG Energy Solution, deploying modular construction and a hybrid air-and-liquid cooling system.
