According to Korean Economic TV, LS Electric posted record second-quarter revenue of 1.577 trillion won (up 32% year-over-year) and operating profit of 178.5 billion won (up 64%) on July 24, driven by surging AI datacenter demand. New orders soared 243% to 2.0835 trillion won, the highest quarterly figure, with the company raising its full-year new order guidance from 4.1 trillion won to 6-6.5 trillion won.
Multiple South Korean brokers raised price targets following the results. Hana Securities lifted its target to 270,000 won from 220,000 won, while SK Securities raised its target to 310,000 won from 240,000 won. LS Securities maintained its 350,000 won target and reiterated top pick status for power equipment stocks.
