Maersk Announces July Rate Increase to $6,000 per TEU on Europe Routes

According to Jin10 Futures and Haiton Futures research on June 10, Maersk announced a rate increase for July, raising prices to $3,900 per twenty-foot container and $6,000 per forty-foot container (TEU), effective from June 29. This represents an increase of approximately $1,300 per TEU compared to Maersk's June rate of $4,700 per TEU.

Spot market rates on European routes currently stand at $5,100 per TEU from Hamburg, with other European ports quoting $4,900 per TEU. Yang Ming Line (YML) updated rates to $4,800 per TEU for June 20-30 delivery windows.
