Maersk Raises 2026 EBITDA Guidance to $80-100B on Strong Container Demand

Shipping giant Maersk raised its full-year 2026 guidance on June 29, projecting base EBITDA of $80-100 billion, up from prior guidance of $45-70 billion. The company now expects base EBIT of $20-40 billion, surpassing analyst expectations of $14.2 billion. The upgrade reflects strong container market demand and a sustained surge in spot market rates.
