Maple Releases MIP-021 Governance Proposal for Revenue-Linked Buyback Mechanism

According to Foresight News, Maple protocol released governance proposal MIP-021 on July 9, introducing a rules-based buyback mechanism tied to protocol revenue. The proposal outlines a tiered structure: when monthly revenue falls below $1.5 million, 10% of revenue will be used to buy back SYRUP tokens; when monthly revenue is between $1.5 million and $2 million, 20% will be allocated for buybacks; when monthly revenue exceeds $2 million, 30% will be used. All buyback operations will be conducted transparently and subject to governance vote approval. The proposal is currently in feedback stage, with voting scheduled to commence on July 13.
