Marvell in Talks with TSMC to Adopt A14 Advanced Process for Flagship Products in 2028

Marvell President Chris Koopmans recently revealed that the company is in discussions with TSMC to adopt the A14 advanced process node for its next-generation flagship products. TSMC's A14 is planned as the successor to the N2 (2-nanometer) node and is expected to enter mass production in 2028. Compared to N2, A14 offers 10% to 15% performance improvement at the same power consumption, or 25% to 30% lower energy consumption at the same speed, with logic density increasing over 20%.
