According to Foresight News, Metaplanet, a Japanese Bitcoin treasury company, is advancing the listing of its perpetual preferred stock, which would be Japan’s first perpetual preferred stock and the seventh preferred stock overall in the market. CEO Simon Gerovich announced the company plans to increase dividend distributions post-listing, including monthly payouts. The listing review will assess the company’s dividend-paying capacity across different market conditions, based on its Bitcoin revenue performance over the past six quarters.
