Micron Falls 6%, SanDisk Drops 7.8% as U.S. Memory Chip Sector Weakens on June 29

According to MSX.COM data, on June 29, Micron Technology shares fell 6% to $1,064.34, SanDisk fell 7.8% to $1,931.16, and Kioxia ADRs dropped 7%. The two stocks ranked first and second in trading volume among all U.S. equities. South Korea's industry minister Kim Jung-gwan stated on the same day that the country expects to double DRAM production capacity within five years, with global memory market projected to grow fourfold in the same period.
