MiniMax Launches M3 Model With 1M Context Window and Native Multimodal Support

According to Odaily, MiniMax (MINIMAX-W) unveiled its M3 model today, featuring a 1M token context window and native multimodal capabilities including image, video, and desktop interface inputs. The model uses a new sparse attention architecture (MSA) and demonstrates capabilities in programming and agentic tasks. MiniMax noted M3 is the first domestically-developed model combining these features and the only open-source option with this capability set.
