Missouri Attorney General Sues Crypto ATM Operator CoinFlip for Allegedly Facilitating Fraud

According to Cointelegraph, Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway filed a lawsuit against cryptocurrency ATM operator CoinFlip today (May 21), accusing the company of knowingly facilitating fraudulent transactions targeting elderly people and military veterans in the state. The lawsuit seeks to bar CoinFlip from operating in Missouri, impose $1,000 fines for each violation in the past five years with a maximum of $1.826 million, and require consumer compensation. CoinFlip operates 136 ATMs in Missouri and 4,229 machines nationwide.
