Naver Surges 13% as Nvidia Invests $1 Billion, Becomes Third Largest Shareholder

According to Money Today, Naver surged on July 27 after Nvidia announced a 1 billion dollar equity investment in the South Korean tech company as part of an AI Factory collaboration. The stock jumped 8.8% to 225,000 Korean won in afternoon trading, with intraday highs reaching a 13% gain at 234,500 won. Following the investment, Nvidia will become Naver's third-largest shareholder with a one-year mandatory holding period. Naver is constructing large-scale GPU data centers, targeting 200 megawatts by 2028 with long-term expansion plans to 1 gigawatt.
