New World Development Denies Reaching Agreement on '11 SKIES' Project with Hong Kong Airport Authority

On May 14, New World Development denied reaching any agreement with Hong Kong Airport Authority regarding potential changes to its ‘11 SKIES’ project operations, following media reports that the authority had taken over retail and entertainment management of the 2.66 million square feet development. The company stated it remains in ongoing discussions with the authority but has not concluded any arrangements. According to reports, the take-over would cover approximately 70% of the project by area.
