According to CCTV News, on May 12, Japanese motor manufacturer Nidec was reported to face quality violations exceeding 1,000 cases, including design changes and fabricated inspection data. An investigation committee composed of external lawyers is expected to be established on May 13, with plans to clarify the full scope of the issues by the end of August.
