Nous Research Launches Hermes Agent macOS Computer Control, Reduces Token Consumption by 95%

Nous Research announced that its Hermes Agent has launched macOS computer control functionality, according to monitoring by Beating. The feature enables background operations such as email searches and code writing without interfering with user input or window focus. Through a four-layer context compression mechanism, the framework reduces token consumption from approximately 600,000 to 30,000 tokens when executing 20 consecutive operations at 1568×900 resolution.
