Nous Research Releases Hermes Agent v0.13.0 with Reconstructed Kanban Multi-Agent System

According to Beating, Nous Research released Hermes Agent v0.13.0, an open-source agent framework. The version reintroduces the Kanban multi-agent collaboration system, which was previously tested and withdrawn. The reconstructed Kanban now includes heartbeat detection, zombie process cleanup, and a hallucination recovery mechanism to prevent agents from abandoning tasks midway.

The new version introduces the /goal command, which locks an agent's focus on the current objective without interference from multi-turn conversations. Additional improvements include Checkpoints v2 for state persistence, automatic session recovery after system restart, fixes for 8 P0-level security vulnerabilities, and a pluggable model architecture.
