Nvidia Acquires AI Model Company Kumo for at Least $400 Million

According to The Information, Nvidia has acquired Kumo, a U.S. enterprise AI model company specializing in predictive software for business data, for at least $400 million. The company's three co-founders—CEO Vanja Josifovski (former Airbnb CTO and Pinterest CEO), Chief Scientist Jure Leskovec (Stanford professor), and Engineering Lead Hema Raghavan (former LinkedIn AI head)—joined Nvidia in May 2026.

Kumo's KumoRFM foundation model is designed for data warehouses and handles predictive tasks such as customer churn forecasting and credit default risk assessment. The acquisition expands Nvidia's enterprise AI model portfolio and brings specialized research talent for developing business-focused foundation models.
