Nvidia and Corning Expand U.S. Optical Connectivity Capacity 10x, Fiber Output Over 50% on May 6

Nvidia and Corning announced on May 6 a multi-year partnership to significantly expand U.S. domestic optical connectivity manufacturing capacity. Corning will increase its U.S. optical connectivity product capacity by 10 times and boost its U.S. fiber optic production by over 50% to support artificial intelligence infrastructure development. The expansion includes building three advanced manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Texas, creating more than 3,000 high-wage American jobs.
