According to BlockBeats, on July 29, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang met with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to discuss Nvidia's plan to produce $500 billion worth of technology products in the United States over four years to strengthen the country's supply chain and maintain American leadership in AI, including open-source development.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is finalizing a new framework requiring advanced AI models to provide early access to the U.S. government before release and is deliberating its policy stance on open-source AI.
