Nvidia Invests Billions in Ilya Sutskever's Safe Superintelligence on July 28

According to BlockBeats, on July 28, Nvidia announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Safe Superintelligence (SSI), founded by OpenAI co-founder and former Chief Scientist Ilya Sutskever, committing billions of dollars in funding to advance next-generation AI research. The specific investment amount was not disclosed.

As part of the collaboration, SSI will adopt Nvidia's latest-generation Vera Rubin AI computing platform, with expected compute capacity increasing approximately 10-fold over the next 12 months, according to the announcement.
