According to Bloomberg, Wiwynn, one of Nvidia's largest server manufacturers, warned that data center supply shortages are expanding beyond memory chips to other critical components, potentially slowing global AI infrastructure expansion or raising costs. Wiwynn chairman Honglihuang expects demand to remain strong over the next three to five years as Meta and Microsoft continue increasing capital expenditure, but competition for components from memory to network chips is pushing hardware prices to record levels.
