Nvidia's Vera Rubin: End-to-End AI Compute Platform Built by 40,000 Engineers for Agent Era

According to Beating News, Nvidia CEO Huang Re-nuen detailed at GTC Taipei 2026 why Vera Rubin represents a complete system redesign for the Agent era. He emphasized that Vera Rubin is not merely a chip or GPU, but an end-to-end system architecture involving 40,000 Nvidia engineers.

The platform integrates heterogeneous compute modules: large language models run on GPUs activating entire rows of Grace Blackwell NVLink 72; orchestration engines operate on CPUs; tool invocation leverages both CPU and GPU; security layers run on BlueField DPU for data encryption at rest, in transit, and in use. The full stack includes Vera GPU, Vera CPU, ConnectX-9 SuperNIC, BlueField-4 DPU, and DOCA software. Huang also announced that all CUDA X libraries will gain Agent Skills, enabling agents to call these libraries efficiently. Nvidia's evolution has shifted from GPU company to systems company focused on delivering complete AI factory infrastructure.
