Ondo Finance Founder Nathan Allman Dies Unexpectedly on May 26

According to Ondo Finance, founder and CEO Nathan Allman passed away unexpectedly on May 26. The company did not disclose the cause of death and said the family requested privacy. Allman was widely regarded as one of the leading figures behind institutional adoption of tokenized real-world assets on blockchain.

Ondo Finance president Ian De Bode will assume the role of CEO effective immediately. Under Allman's leadership since the company's 2021 founding, Ondo became one of the largest tokenized real-world asset platforms, managing over $3 billion worth of on-chain assets through products including OUSG and USDY.
