According to Beating, OpenAI is restructuring ChatGPT’s memory system on September 1, replacing fragmented memory snapshots with structured topic-based archives that users can manually edit. Reverse engineer Tibor Blaho’s interface leak reveals new features including active memory function “Pulse” and audio recall mode.

The update also deepens platform integration: Apple Intelligence gains dedicated authorization for use within Siri and writing tools with Plus benefits, financial features roll out to U.S. Pro users, and developers gain Codex CLI support for headless environment authentication.
