OpenPayd Secures MiCA License Ahead of July 1 EU Deadline

According to the Malta Financial Services Authority, financial infrastructure provider OpenPayd secured MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) authorization just days before the July 1 transitional deadline. The license enables OpenPayd to operate as a crypto-asset service provider across the European Economic Area, offering fiat-to-stablecoin on-ramping and off-ramping services. The company currently processes over $240 billion in annualized transaction volume for more than 1,100 businesses globally, including clients such as Kraken, eToro, OKX, and B2C2.
