OpenTrade Raises $17M Led by Mercury Fund and Notion Capital

According to Mercury Fund and Notion Capital, stablecoin yield infrastructure platform OpenTrade has raised $17 million in a strategic funding round on Wednesday, bringing its total capital raised above $30 million. The round also included participation from a16z Crypto. CEO David Sutter told Cointelegraph the fresh capital will support the expansion of both its permissioned and permissionless yield infrastructure, as well as growth of Curation+, its vault-focused service offering. The company also plans to expand its asset management and trading teams and increase engineering capacity.
