Options Technology launched its Hosted Desktop Infrastructure, a GPU-accelerated platform designed for hedge funds, banks, and quantitative trading firms operating in latency-sensitive environments. The platform allocates dedicated 16-core processors and NVIDIA GPU resources directly to individual users, supporting AI analytics, Bloomberg Terminal environments, MATLAB modeling, and real-time quantitative trading workflows. According to CEO Danny Moore, "with HDI, complex Excel models and AI environments now operate efficiently, reliably, and with a seamless, local-like experience," addressing performance bottlenecks in traditional virtual desktop systems where users compete for shared compute resources.
