Oriental Computing Unveils DF1000 AI Chip at WAIC 2026, Wins SAIL Excellence Award

According to Guru Club, Oriental Computing unveiled the world's first software-defined near-data-computing 3D AI chip DF1000 at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC, July 17-20) in Shanghai and received the SAIL Artificial Intelligence Leader of Excellence Award. The chip, built on mature domestic 14-nanometer-plus process technology, employs software-defined architecture combined with 3D stacked near-data computing via DRAM-LOGIC wafer-level hybrid bonding. The technology achieves AI accelerator performance comparable to cutting-edge 4-nanometer designs. DF1000 has completed full-function stable operation verification across a 128-card cluster deployment.
