Paulson Says Gold Bull Market in Early Stages as NOVAGOLD Agrees Donlin Gold Deal

According to CNBC, billionaire investor John Paulson said on Wednesday that gold remains in the early stages of a long-term bull market, citing declining confidence in fiat currencies and sustained central bank demand. In his interview, Paulson emphasized that investors should focus on gold mining equities rather than physical bullion, stating "the best way to invest is through stocks like NOVAGOLD." His comments coincided with NOVAGOLD's announcement that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Paulson's 40% stake in the Donlin Gold project. Under the terms, NOVAGOLD shareholders will hold approximately 65% of the combined entity, while Paulson's hedge fund retains a 40% economic interest with voting power capped at 19.99%.
