Pavel Durov Announces 6x Reduction in TON Network Transaction Fees Within One Week

Gate News message, April 24 — Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, announced that TON network transaction fees will drop 6 times over the next week, falling to 0.00039 TON (approximately $0.0005) per transaction and remaining fixed regardless of network load.

Following the reduction, most transactions on TON are expected to become completely free. Durov did not specify an exact timeline for the zero-fee rollout but emphasized that the network's fee structure will remain unaffected by network congestion.
