Pharmaresearch Q2 Operating Profit Forecast at 70B KRW, Up 25.3%; Medical Device Exports Rise 35.5%

According to Samsung Securities, Pharmaresearch forecasts Q2 operating profit at 70 billion KRW, up 25.3% year-over-year, with revenue reaching 172.5 billion KRW (up 22.6%). The company is accelerating overseas expansion through medical tourism growth and export channels in Japan, Europe, and the U.S., where its cosmetics were listed on Sephora in late March.

Medical device exports are projected to reach 32.9 billion KRW, up 35.5%, driven by Western Europe shipments estimated at 3.4 million USD for Q2, compared to 1.4 million USD in Q1. Cosmetics exports are expected to surge 73.9% to 33.9 billion KRW. On July 1, Pharmaresearch acquired Cosmetic Group USA to establish local production capacity, expected to launch by year-end.
